Ginger Molasses is a five-piece "thrift store rock" band based in Nevada City, California, blending the soul and grit of early '70s rock with a contemporary edge. Their sound recalls flipping through your cool uncle’s record bin in the garage, discovering albums you never knew existed, but, once unearthed, feel completely essential. The beating heart of the band is front-woman Tawnee Kendall, who, with her Tower-of-Power inspired fringed costumes and searing vocals, mesmerizes and ignites audiences.
